XC Falcon Cobra #86 Allan Moffat Replica |
Hi Guys,
My business partner and I came up with www.musclecarstables.com.au. It was done out of a growing passion of dealing with muscle cars and their owners, events etc.
Just to show everyone in the Muscle car world that we are all not about the money- we completed the first 6 months FREE OF CHARGE!
So guys whether your looking for a car, or wanting to move one, or just interested in the up and coming events - or anything Muscle- please keep an eye on the site-We are there for you -The ENTHUSIAST!
As for my Cobra # 86 -this car was transformed to it's current state back in late 1978.
Cobra No. 86 has been upgraded with the following:
377 Stroker Motor
Upgraded heads by Mick Webb
Heavy Duty Tremec 5-speed
Heavy Duty Oil-Cooler
Hidden Wiring loom
Strut Tower Braces (as Per Bathurst Spec).
Twin Thermo Fans (as per Bathurst Spec)
Many Chromed & poilished parts
Competition Coated Extractors
Stainless steel exhaust system
GT Steering Box
Momo suede Steering wheel
Full Scheel Interior (including rear seat)
Bond Fully Polished Roll Cage
Bathurst Front Spoiler
200 Litre Race Tank
Allan Moffat Ford Dealers Livery
Simmons wheels (Deep Dish)
295/60/15 Tyres on rear & 235/60/15 on front
Bonnet Lock down pins
Rooftop mounted 2 way radio antenna
As you can see, it\'s a rare Cobra being in the first 100, but what really makes it special is-All the blood, sweat and tears that got it to what it is today.
The uniqueness of this car and the stance is something I love and probably won't part with for a long time to come.
Cheers
Chester
