1991 VG Commodore Ute, See it at this Years Nations in Canberra.

This car was probably the first Late Model PRO STREET car ever built(?) Hugely popular back in the day for it’s massive wheels and 8 Gold trumpets pointing skywards, it was on the cover of a quite few magazines in the early 90’s featured in Street Machine Dec 92 and has won Numerous awards.
The Ute vanished round 95/96 until it was dug up by the current owner back in 2012 and has since undergone a very minor restoration & update.
The Exterior & Engine bay Paint has not been touched (apart from Polish) since it was painted in 1991 (Spies Hecker Midnight Green) however the tray area was in need of attention with paint damage caused from years of sitting with items stored in the tray, this was stripped back to bare steel and repainted with the original paint the car was painted in 25 years prior. The interior has changed slightly- the original seats were finished in a grey Leather that had dried out and faded, and have since been replaced with re-trimmed Genuine HSV SV5000 Seats and a HSV Clubsport wheel has been fitted instead of the standard VN Wheel. New tyres have been fitted to the original Bob Glidden Pro Stars 15×15 rear & 15×6 front with Mickey Thompson 31x18x15 SR Radials rear and 195/15 fronts and have travelled less than 500kms. The car now presents extremely well considering it’s age which shows the quality of the build 25 years ago!
