Not a single detail was missed when considering the Falcon XR8 Sprint. It featured a silhouette black painted roof, lip spoiler, wing mirrors, and Falcon XR8 Sprint specific decals, giving a nod to its exclusivity. 19-inch gloss black wheels sat in front of unique 6-piston front and 4-piston rear gold painted Brembo brakes finishing off the bold exterior design. The interior embroidered suede and leather accented and trims, alongside custom-made branded gear knob and badges matched the exterior’s distinctive design.
This was the most powerful Falcon XR8 ever. It produced a phenomenal 345kW of power with 575Nm of torque with transient overboost for up to 55kW and 75Nm more power and torque. After extensive testing, Ford engineers chose the ultra-high performance Pirelli P-Zero tyres – ideal for the high-powered V8 engine, and a first for Falcon. What’s more, the Falcon XR Sprint line was fitted with a firmer sports suspension with revised spring rates and increased rebound damping for the ultimate in body control.
