Lets start by stating this car has had a total rebuild, and I mean TOTAL rebuild. There are some pictures of it in it’s skeleton form and you will understand as to the extent that we are talking about. You don’t see vehicles done like this (at such great COST and attention to detail) much these days.

The extensive work was carried out by professionals, the owner has detailed photos of the restoration in various stages.

The car is ALL NEW:

The 302 motor Z28 block 657, Bowtie heads, solid camshaft, forged pistons as per Z28.

The gearbox is a rebuilt M20 ( Muncie ) with a new Hurst shifter,

The DIFF IS A Rebuilt 4.10 Possi 12 bolt with Penard Bar and single leaf springs again all above as per Z28.

All Suspension front and back is new, Disc brakes front and drum rear all new.

Exhaust new,

The rims are new, fitted with Pirelli tyres, Caps and Trims all new.

All bumpers and chrome work, grill new,

Under the bonnet again all new, also the Power Steer has been rebuilt.

All the body is new as per shot attached these include one piece floor, boot floor, sills, wheel arch, firewall, dash, seat mounts, panel behind rear window, panel behind bumpers, and yes even a new roof skin. All outside body panels new, and a cowl hood fitted. All these procedures were carried out to make sure the car was as close to new as possible.

You now can see the cost of this car and how $67k DOES’NT go close to build it.

The paint was done in it’s factory colour Bolero Red with black stripes, and the correct Red Interior was added.

There is a new boot mat, spare & jack new, even the taco is a NOS from that era. Fuel tank and fuel lines are new.

The owner is willing to trade for a Walkinshaw, or VC Brock, A9X.

The only reason the owner is willing to pass this glamour on is because he has 3 Camaros, not because he wants out.

This Glamourous Camaro I think you would have to agree is one of the BEST you will find anywhere. The amount of extra-ordinary work that was carried out on this car, and most importantly it is a true 8cyl 4 Speed car not a 6cyl made up make it a very special unit indeed as well as a worthy investment.
