This 1969 Fastback was originally sold here in Austarlia and therefore also has a Ford Australia build plate as well as the original US tag.

This big block Mustang is a 2 owner vehicle and has just had a restoration completed (with exception to the motor which is 100% original).

Originally a white car with contrasting blue trim- it has been changed to a more eye catching red car with contrasting black trim.

It is a high quality restoration that has been carried out by the 2nd owner and is a credit to his ability- exceptional bodywork (paint and panel).

The VIN plate under the LH windscreen was attached at the US Production Facility and the number 9T02S170809 decodes as follows

9 =1969 model

T =produced at the Metuchen Production Facility

Each plant started each year with number 100001 and all cars produced at that facility took the next number regardless of model type.

The car is as follows:

Factory S code- 390 Big Block car with an automatic 3 speed.

Fctory fitted with power steering

New carpet and trim kit been installed.

All original glass (except for the windsceen).

Has been lowered to give the car a menacing stance.

Mach 1 bonnet blackout and scoop has been installed.

14 inch Minilite wheels period correct with new tyres have been fitted.

New CD/tuner has been fitted.

The car starts & drives very well with no shakes or rattles

Currently has NSW registration

Faults:

Springs that hold the bonnet up are not in place and therefore requires a stick.

a couple of paint chips (not many at all)
