Only Travelled 13,100kms!

This low km HDT was sold new on 10 April 1984 by Beazley and Bruce Holden in Canberra to a gentleman from the town of Canowindra in the Central West of NSW. The car was the owners pride and joy and was used sparingly.

Eventually the owners traded the car at Ron Stubberfield Toyota in Wellington NSW on the 19th of August 1994.

A well known car dealer and motoring enthusiast from Bathurst, kept the car as a centrepiece in his showroom for many years, with it being used periodically for weddings and the like. This owner kept it for nine years before eventually selling on 14 August 2003 to a private buyer from the Rylstone area.

There is photograghic evidence from 1997 regarding the speedo reading as 7,800 kms. Also on the 13th November 1999, the speedo was showing a grand total of 8,276 kms!

There is also a copy of a Vehicle Valuation provided by Bathurst Holden (dated 26 June 2003), it notes a speedo reading of 8,376 kms.

On the 8th of June 2005 the car had it’s first (10,000 km) log book service at Chrisfield Holden in Kandos.

The current owner purchased the Group 3 from the previous owner on the 28th of November 2005, when it had only 11,046 kms on the speedo.

It currently has approx 13,100 kms on the clock. As part of the car’s maintenance schedule: the car is taken out for a run of around 80 kms, every eight weeks or so, to keep everything well lubricated.

The car has won many accolades. In the hands of the current owner the car also won the HDTOC of NSW VH Concourse trophy in 2008.

DESCRIPTION

With less than 13,500 kms, this 5.0 litre, 4 speed VH SS Group 3 could well be the lowest mileage Group 3 in existence today! It can only be describes as new condition; it still has that new car smell when you open the doors. In addition to the HDT build sheets and Authenticity Certificate mentioned above, it also comes with the original owners manual, dealer business cards and other documentation, all contained in the original Beazley and Bruce Holden dealer wallet. The original keys are supplied on the complementary enamel key ring as provided by the dealership.

The original Dealers stock number of the car is still located on the top of the windscreen in black dymo tape; this number is also shown on the detals section inside the front cover of the owners manual.

The five original Irmschers wheels are still fitted with the 235/60 Pirelli P6 tyres ordered with the car. In order to preserve these wheels and tyres the current owner has fitted a set of Simmons V5 wheels and Bridgestone tyres for “everyday use”. Obviously the original wheels and the elusive HDT Irmscher cap removal tool come with the car as well.

The only other departure from standard is the fittment of a 2 1/2″ stainless steel exhaust system.
