October 1980 VC 5.0 Litre Track Car
Car was built primarily as a track car and comes with the following modifications:
Worked 308 with lumpy cam
New double row timing chain.
Holley blue electric fuel pump
New 650 Holley.
K&N air filter
Genuine HDT air scoop.
Chrome Rocker covers
Morosso Oil Accumulator (needs to be finished off)
Extractors into a 2 3/4 inch single exhaust which runs a single hot dog type muffler.
MSD ignition with an MSD Blaster 2 coil.
AGX adjustable shocks in the front.
Whiteline strut top brace,
Nolathane strut top camber adjusters,
Whiteline castor adjustment,
Whiteline blade adjustable sway bar (adjusts between 24-28mm to adjust handling), Whiteline bushes used for all front & rear end bushes,
Heavy duty lowered King springs front and rear.
Whiteline blade adjustable sway bar,
Heavy duty Monroe shocks,
Whiteline adjustable panhard rod, and
New front and rear VL turbo calipers with Ferodo Formula race pads
New front and rear slotted DBA rotors
Front SAAS seats with SAAS 4 point harnesses (not fitted yet) seat belts to go in as well SAAS suede race wheel
Autometer Sport Comp water temp and oil pressure gauges
Autogauge taco
Half cage fitted.
18 inch race rims wearing Bridgestone Potenza RE540S 245/40/18.
Factory trimatic transmission, with shift kit fitted.
Hurst mega shifter
Muncie close ratio “Rock crusher” Manual box to go with the car for an additional price wheel.
Hurst Indy shifter
The diff has just been replaced.

New custom built tailshaft with new uni’s and new cv joint in the centre and new centre bearing.
