History of Carryover cars:
Shelby America built 252 carry over cars which were based on the 1st generation Shelby GT350.
They were 65 bodies with 66 upgrades, including functional rear brake ducts and plexiglass quarter windows. The engines in 65’s were black and then they went to blue in 66, but the carryover also retained the black engine. Detroit Locker 9 inch was an option back then.
All carryover cars were Wimbledon white with guardsman blue stripes.
