With a pedigree and history to match this is a remarkable example of an iconic American muscle car.
This car was previously personally owned by WORLD-RENOWNED CUSTOM PAINTER….JON KOSMOSKI owner of ‘HOUSE OF KOLOR’ (FOUNDED IN 1956) in USA.
A copy of ‘Certificate of Title…State of Minnesota’ as proof of previous ownership.
Originally built as a show car by Jon Kosmoski in the US were it won various show & car awards and featured at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The car was never driven on the roads in the US & travelled across the country in a sealed truck.
The car has undergone an absolute complete full nut & bolt rotisserie restoration of every single component.
The colour is a customised ‘Kandy Tangerine’ and features on the front cover of Jon Kosmovski’s book ‘Advanced Custom Painting Techniques’ ; it is a book personally developed by Jon as a teaching guide for spray painters. This book has comprehensive documented photographs of every single stage of the rebuild outlining all the steps & layers of primer, sealer, basecoats & clear coats that Jon applied to the perfect raw bodywork.
This book comes with the car.
The paintwork has been described as being one of the most incredibly stunning paint jobs ever seen on a car. The depth and range of colour varies under different light conditions.
Although she was built to wow the eyes…. this Pony drives like a dream & is powered by a power plant built by a Myron Cottrell of TPI Specialties /Cottrell Racing Engines (well known American engine maker), the stroked V8 creates muscle car music that even Beethoven would be proud of. Matched to an auto box with B&M Shifter, engineered suspension, driveline & brakes it drives like a smooth modern day sports car.
Myron passed away at the age of 75 on Dec 29th, 2017….RIP
This car attracts admiring attention & drops jaws everywhere you drive it. It is often sought for photo shoots, weddings, corporate events, video shoots, car shows & exhibitions. This Mustang can easily generate a business income being hired out for film and photo shoots.
Has never been raced or dragged in anyway although it has been videoed for ‘mock’ racing corporate shoots at the track & invited to shows at the Perth drags (Motoplex) a few times. For what its worth, our own Daniel Ricciardo said quote.., ‘man; thats quite a beast you have their’.
The car is currently fully licensed and comes with all approved importation paperwork including Australian VIA (Vehicle Import Approval) documentation.
On its arrival into Australia it underwent a comprehensive vehicle engineering certification process by a highly regarded vehicle engineering firm (in conjunction with the Dept of Vehicle Licensing WA) & was then registered & licensed for full unrestricted road use across Australia.
