The HDT VK Group A – The most famous of all the Brock Commodores, with 502 examples of the original race homologation model being built between May and December 1985. The Blue Meanie is so revered today, with enthusiasts paying high prices for top quality examples of the breed.
Fast forward to 2012 and the HDT Blue Meanie is back, and better than ever. HDT have recreated the famous Formula Blue steed as a part of their Heritage Series, with only 92 out of the proposed 250 unique examples to be built – This car will be a collectable for many years to come!!

Completely finished in HDT’s signature Formula Blue duco, the VK Retro Group A is a sensation on the road. With HDT’s unique front valance, aerodynamic grille, three-piece boot spoiler and spats the Group A cuts a fine figure on the road.
With 350kW as standard, it also performs like a true thoroughbred. HDT spent hundreds of hours researching camshaft profiles to select the perfect match for this car. When combined with HDT’s intake, exhaust and ECU recalibration a monster is awoken and amazing power is unleashed.
HDT Bilstein Coil over suspension allows the Blue Meanie to soak up anything the road throws at it, providing an unrivalled ride and handling combination that is the measure of any competitor. Inside, HDT re-trim the interior to create a classy, bespoke cabin, ensuring you know that you’re driving something special.
Limted to a build run of just 250 cars, this unique vehicle also carries its own build number, individualised build plate and comes with a complete HDT certified authentication documents.
The prototype as featured in the picture gallery features HDT’s optional supercharger upgrade package. It also features HDT’s optional four-seat leather trim, which is available in a range of leather colours.
